Description
Description
Produced by wild bees in the remote forests of Zambia, this organic raw honey is carefully harvested using traditional beekeeping methods that support both local communities and the surrounding forest ecosystem.
Why customers choose Wainwright's Forest Honey:
• Cold pressed to retain more of its natural character
• Produced by wild forest bees
• Certified organic and Fair Trade
• No antibiotics or sugar feeding
• Harvested by village beekeepers using traditional methods
• Supports sustainable forestry and local livelihoods
Wainwright's founder, David Wainwright, has worked alongside Zambian beekeepers since 1983. Decades later, the same principles remain at the heart of production: respecting the forest, supporting local communities and producing exceptional honey with minimal intervention.
Rich, smooth and full of natural flavour, it's delicious spread on toast, stirred into porridge, drizzled over yoghurt or enjoyed straight from the spoon.
Please note: As a raw honey, its consistency naturally changes with temperature. It may become runny in warmer conditions and gradually crystallise as temperatures fall.
