Bee pollen and propolis
Beyond the honey jar, bees give us two more natural foods. Our range includes organic bee pollen granules, soothing Manuka honey and propolis drops, and raw honey with bee pollen.
What is bee pollen?
Bee pollen is flower pollen that bees collect and press into granules with a little honey. It is naturally rich in plant protein and amino acids. Sprinkle it over porridge, yoghurt or smoothie bowls, starting with a small amount and building up as you get used to the flavour.
What is propolis?
Propolis is a natural resin that bees make from plant and tree resins to protect their hive. It has a long history of traditional use, and in our Manuka honey drops it is paired with MGO 400+ honey and vitamin C in a convenient lozenge.
Storing bee products
Keep bee pollen sealed in a cool, dry place, and store propolis drops somewhere cool and dry too. If you have a known allergy to bee products, introduce them slowly and check with your doctor first. Explore more in our raw honey and full honey collection.
