Perfect for plant‑based or health-conscious cooking, this brown risotto rice cooks slowly to release its natural creaminess and provides a hearty, satisfying base for a variety of dishes.

- Cook: Combine 250 g of rice with around 850 ml of water. Bring to a gentle simmer, cover, and cook for approximately 70 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season: Add salt, herbs, vegetable stock, or wine as per your recipe when cooking to infuse flavour.
- Finish: Once the rice is tender and the water mostly absorbed, allow it to rest off the heat for a couple of minutes to allow the natural creaminess to develop.
